[10:35] <camerongray> Hey jacky
[10:35] <@jacky> Howdy
[10:35] <@jacky> glad you are here
[10:35] <@jacky> I had a look, yesterday
[10:35] <@jacky> albeit very quick
[10:35] <@jacky> I did see some long posts... you know.. repeating characters, etc.
[10:35] <@jacky> and I spotted a couple <cen sored>
[10:35] <camerongray> hehehe
[10:36] <@jacky> but... and maybe I was skimming too quick... didn't see any specific words to put on a 'list'
[10:36] <camerongray> hmm
[10:36] <camerongray> I'll be with you later - VERY busy at the moment
[10:36] <camerongray> sorry
[10:36] <@jacky> I'll have another look, too
[10:36] <@jacky> np
[10:36] <@jacky> :)
[10:37] <camerongray> I'm moving Mulreay's site to a new server and the SQL database stuff is confusing
[10:37] <@jacky> cool
[10:37] <@jacky> you concentrate
[10:41] <Mulreay> I owe him lots..
[10:42] <camerongray> oh - I'll need to change the domain over to do some work - is that ok
[10:42] <camerongray> your site will go down for a while
[10:44] <camerongray> Mulreay: Is that ok?
[10:46] <Mulreay> yeah no problem..
[10:46] <camerongray> kk
[10:46] * camerongray thinks how to do it
[10:46] <Mulreay> Thanks again for the help...
[10:47] <camerongray> you're welcom
[10:47] <camerongray> e
[10:47] <@jacky> Mulreay: while he is doing that, can I talk to you for a minute?
[10:47] <@BC_Programming> ahhhh my windows key is broken
[10:47] <@jacky> how about your door key?
[10:47] <@jacky> you car key?
[10:47] <@BC_Programming> heh
[10:47] <Mulreay> of course jacky
[10:47] <@jacky> hehe
[10:48] <@jacky> Mulreay: that thing with your hostmask, in your bot
[10:48] <@jacky> wanted to finish covering that
[10:48] <Mulreay> Yeah me too thanks
[10:48] <@jacky> what I did, was simply add your new hostmask
[10:48] <Mulreay> ok
[10:48] <@jacky> I don't know if you ever went back and deleted the incorrect one or not.... that's up to you. :)
[10:48] <@jacky> but
[10:48] <@jacky> it brings up the question: what would you do, if nobody could add your new hostmask?
[10:48] <@jacky> there is a way
[10:49] <@jacky> make a note: look up the ident command
[10:49] <@jacky> and learn how to use it
[10:49] <@jacky> basically, via /msg you can tell the bot to accept a new hostmask for yourself.
[10:49] <@jacky> it should be password protected, obviiously
[10:49] <@jacky> and, you can even change the name of the command! to make it even more secure
[10:50] <@jacky> I just wanted to tell you to look it up, be sure it is enabled, and config'd the way you want it, and then to learn how to use it.... so you'll be in good shape for the next time. :)
[10:50] <Mulreay> h thanks
[10:50] <Mulreay> yeah*
[10:52] <@BC_Programming> well this is annoying. everytime I go to use Windows Key+Run I try around 5 times before I remember the windows key isn't working for some reason
[10:53] <@jacky> Ctrl-Esc
[10:53] <@jacky> is what I do, on this old kb that doesn't have a WinKey
[10:53] <@BC_Programming> yeah I used t odo that for the start menu
[10:53] <@jacky> and Run is on it
[10:53] <@jacky> works for me....
[10:53] <@BC_Programming> but it doesn't work as a substitute for the windows key shortcuts
[10:54] <@BC_Programming> I will probably be able to use it it again when I reboot
[10:54] <@jacky> not all the shortcuts, true
[10:54] <@jacky> I used to use WinKey+E
[10:54] <@jacky> now, I use the run menu that I can get that way, and explorer
[10:54] <@BC_Programming> yep
[10:55] <@BC_Programming> I had to use an old keyboard recently
[10:55] <@BC_Programming> I kept trying to hit the windows key
[10:55] <@BC_Programming> but met with plastic
[10:55] <@BC_Programming> "ahh! the key is... oh nevermind"
[10:55] <@BC_Programming> then of course I'd lose my train of thought and need to start over
[10:57] <@jacky> short attention span, eh?
[10:57] <@jacky> hehehe
[10:57] <@BC_Programming> what was that?
[10:57] <@BC_Programming> heh
[10:58] <@jacky> about what?
[10:58] <@BC_Programming> who?
[10:58] <@BC_Programming> what's thing about reagan?
[10:59] <@BC_Programming> say I saw fat Sally yesterday
[10:59] <@BC_Programming> she's fat
[10:59] <@BC_Programming> and her name is Sally
[10:59] <@BC_Programming> so we call her fat Sally
[10:59] <@jacky> possum's are fattening
[10:59] <@BC_Programming> indeed
[10:59] <@jacky> ever seen a fat possum?
[10:59] <@jacky> hair sticking all out....
[10:59] <@BC_Programming> come to think of it
[10:59] <@jacky> ugly....
[10:59] <@BC_Programming> heh
[11:00] <@BC_Programming> genetic engineering
[11:00] <@jacky> looks like Don King
[11:00] <@BC_Programming> to mix possums and other animals
[11:00] <@BC_Programming> half possum, half hedgehog... it's a hedgesum... or a posshog
[11:00] <@BC_Programming> half possum, half zebra
[11:00] <@BC_Programming> zebrum
[11:00] <@jacky> sounds like a vitamin pill though
[11:01] <@BC_Programming> until it attacks
[11:01] <@jacky> then it is a diaherra pill?
[11:01] <@BC_Programming> well, you can get an extract from the zebrum that causes it
[11:01] <@jacky> put one on the highway, and let a tractor trailer roll over it?
[11:01] <@jacky> extract?
[11:02] <@BC_Programming> yeah see now you have the idea
[11:02] <@BC_Programming> it's a messy business
[11:02] <@BC_Programming> and nobody has to do it
[11:02] <@BC_Programming> but they do anyway
[11:02] <Mulreay> Surely there can be no half of a possum!
[11:03] <@jacky> that would using the train tracks
[11:03] <@BC_Programming> it's quite simple really
[11:04] <@BC_Programming> split a possum down the middle
[11:04] <@BC_Programming> you have two half possums
[11:04] <@BC_Programming> warranted there can be no living half possums
[11:04] <Mulreay> Ahh multi possum
[11:04] <@BC_Programming> unless of course you speak of half-sized possums
[11:04] <@BC_Programming> midget possums so to speak
[11:04] <@jacky> half-pint possums?
[11:04] <@jacky> pico-possum?
[11:04] <camerongray> Mulreay: DO you know how to transfer the domain?
[11:05] <Mulreay> Nope
[11:05] <@jacky> into every inanity, must come a serious person
[11:05] <@jacky> hehehe
[11:05] <@BC_Programming> if infinite possums are on typewriters, what do you end up with?
[11:05] <@jacky> left wing liberal wacko newspapers?
[11:06] <@BC_Programming> a lot of possums and a lot of wasted paper, pretty much. the logistic undertaking of even acquiring an infinite number of possums is mind boggling
[11:06] <@BC_Programming> I mean, you cannot even HAVE infinite possums
[11:06] <@jacky> yep. I was right
[11:06] <@jacky> hehe
[11:06] <@BC_Programming> it's really a thought experiment
[11:08] * Mulreay (mulreay@329B0E1D.A34D3407.C48A7639.IP) Quit (Quit: Take care guy's speak later)
[11:59] <camerongray> btw - I was on the internet and I found a website that shows previous versions of websites - Look at saviour PC: http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://saviour-pc.com
[12:01] <@BC_Programming> heh
[12:01] <camerongray> look up youtube on it - and google
[12:01] <@BC_Programming> I remember seeing what the old MS site looked like
[12:01] <@BC_Programming> ages ago
[12:01] <@BC_Programming> terrible
[12:02] <@BC_Programming> a tree or something, with the different branches having links
[12:02] <@BC_Programming> ugh
[12:02] <@BC_Programming> it was awful
[12:02] <@BC_Programming> then again, this was when IE2 was out
[12:02] <@BC_Programming> and HTML was pretty young too
[12:03] <camerongray> lol
[12:03] <@BC_Programming> "cognigen PC"... ?
[12:04] <@BC_Programming> heh
[12:04] <@BC_Programming> looking at Computerhope now
[12:12] <camerongray> it's strangely addictive
[12:13] <camerongray> oh - I have an idea - look up PC manufacturers' websites - Look at the amazing specs
[12:13] <@BC_Programming> heh
[12:15] <camerongray> Dell have a computer for $2799 with a whopping 32mb RAM and a 266mHz pentium II
[12:15] <@BC_Programming> lol
[12:15] <@BC_Programming> I just found my old old old old old site
[12:15] <@BC_Programming> http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.geocities.com/dinoland_yoshi
[12:15] <camerongray> looking
[12:15] <@BC_Programming> it sucks
[12:16] <@BC_Programming> heh
[12:17] <camerongray> hehehe
[12:17] <@BC_Programming> hey I forgot all about Blackspace
[12:18] <@BC_Programming> actually that a lie. I tried running it the other day
[12:18] <@BC_Programming> holy crap though, that was over 5 years ago
[12:18] <camerongray> The worst computer shop in the UK has blocked themselves from it
[12:18] <@BC_Programming> I wonder how they do that
[12:19] <camerongray> Robots.txt
